Cookie policy
Last updated: 12 August 2026
This page describes exactly what this website stores on your device. It is deliberately short, because the site stores very little.
Strictly necessary
One item of local storage, fc_consent_v1, records whether you chose "Accept" or "Decline" in the
cookie notice, so we do not ask again on every page. It contains no identifier and nothing about you. Our hosting
provider may also use strictly necessary technology for security and content delivery.
Advertising and measurement
The site loads the Google Ads tag AW-17719931677 so we can measure whether our advertising works.
It runs under Google Consent Mode v2, and this site sets the following defaults before the tag
loads:
| Consent signal | Default on arrival |
|---|---|
ad_storage | Denied |
ad_user_data | Denied |
ad_personalization | Denied |
analytics_storage | Denied |
functionality_storage | Granted |
security_storage | Granted |
Those signals only change to "granted" if you press Accept. If you press Decline, or ignore the notice entirely, advertising and analytics storage stays denied.
What the cookie notice does and does not do
- It changes consent state, and nothing else.
- It does not open the advertiser, and neither button is a commercial link.
- It does not block the page. You can read everything and use every link while it is on screen.
- Declining does not reduce any functionality on this site.
Changing your mind
To reset your choice, clear this site's data in your browser (in most browsers: padlock icon in the address bar → site settings → delete data), then reload the page. The notice will appear again with everything denied by default. You can also block or delete cookies for all sites in your browser settings.
Third-party sites
If you deliberately follow a commercial link, you leave this website. The affiliate network and the seller set their own cookies under their own policies, which we do not control. Please read their notices on their sites.
